| i think my chinese paper had to be the most amusing paper i ever sat for in my entire life. mainly because i have no idea what i'm writing, and it's a lot of guessing and making scrunching little faces as you try desperately to recall that character on that page and a lot of excited expression when you recognise a chimnology chinese character.
i could not remember a single qns now but one. we had to fill in the blanks, with one or more hanzi.
I have many zhong guo (China) ____, i ____ you all very ____.
WTH. lol. so at first i wrote i have many chinese friends, i renshi yixia you all very well. but i thought renshi yixia means know you for the first time so i thought maybe that didnt make any sense. so i changed it at the last min:
wo you many (cant rmb the pinyin) zhong guo ren pengyou, wo kan ni men hen mei = (literally!) I have many chinese friends, i look you all so pretty.
hahaha. i was so amused by my stroke of genius ( i dont even know if it makes sense! or if it's grammatically sound). but i was grinning like a stupid idiot (still grinning now) though i pretty much mess it up (i bought some cheapo ball point pen thinking that they wont know my stroke order but the ink jerk jerk! so my handwriting is horrible!). i rush through my essay thinking the paper ends at 630 only to realise that it ends at 7pm and i didnt have space to rewrite the whole thing. lol.
so lets just hope that it's grammatically alright and the marker goes for creativity instead of writing it in the right manner. fat hope. |
